Welcome to Virtual Ventures!

Virtual Ventures is a non-profit organization run under the Faculty of Engineering and Design at Carleton University. Our main focus is running a nationally recognized technology and engineering summer camp for youth who have completed grades 1-10. Other programs run through Virtual Ventures include fall and winter clubs and a school outreach program. Virtual Ventures provides the youth of Ottawa with experience in all aspects of computers, information technology, engineering, and science during week-long summer day camps and weekend workshops. Virtual Ventures will be marking its 19th year of operation in 2013.


In 2012, Virtual Ventures won the Actua & GE Canada Award for Leadership and Innovation. This award was created in 1998 as a way to recognize member organizations that have best exemplified the Actua spirit of innovation over the past year. Click here to read more about the award
