What is the availability for your camps?

How do I register for your camps?
To register for our camps please visit our Registration Section. You can register online or download and mail in a registration form from our website for all our programs.
We accept VISA and Mastercard payment for online registrations; however, you can still fill in the application form online and mail in a cheque for payment. Please note that registration is not guaranteed until we receive your cheque.
When are cheques processed and cashed?
Cheques are cashed once per week during the summer and once every month during the fall and winter.
Can I post-date my cheques for your program?
We cannot accept post-dated cheques for our programs. To secure your registration you must pay the full amount for the program up front. If you require financial assistance there is a Bursary Program available for those who qualify.
When are credit card payments processed?
Credit cards are processed immediately through our secure online registration system. A valid email is required for a receipt to be sent to you.
I did not receive a confirmation package, how can I find out if my child is registered and where can I get the confirmation package information?
If you did not receive a confirmation package, you can log in to your Online Account using the username and password you created during registration to verify your registration. Also check your junk mail folder as some e-mail accounts do not recognize Virtual Ventures e-mail addresses. To change weeks or add extended care option to your registration, please call our office at 613-520-2600 x5007 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
What is the Extended Care Program?
The Extended Care Program offers before and after camp care for campers at an additional cost. The Extended Program allows campers to be dropped off after 8am and picked up until 5pm.
Can I reserve a space for my child in your camp?
No. In order to secure a spot for your child, please fill out the online registration form and pay with a credit card or mail us your payment for the full amount required. Registrations are not guaranteed until payment has been made in full
I have registered in other Carleton Camps, why don't you have my child's information?/ I have registered in another Carleton Camp, can I switch my registration over to Virtual Ventures?
Virtual Ventures Summer camps are independent of other Carleton University camps and we do not share the same accounts or registration databases. Registrations cannot be switched over from another camp to our camp or vice versa.
Do you offer a bursary program? Is financial assistance available?
We do offer a bursary program for those that qualify. Bursary applications can be completed as part of the online application process. For more information please visit the Bursary Section of this webstie .
I did not receive a receipt in the mail, how might I get one? Is the print-out receipt at the end of the online registration process a valid receipt?
If you registered online the confirmation email you received can be used as a receipt. You can also log into your Online Account and download a printable receipt.
I'm having problems with your online registration. What can I do?
Sometimes the online registration can be a bit confusing. If the weeks for the camper you wish to register do not show up but the correct camp group does show up in different weeks please check the Availability of the camp. If the week appears to still have space available and you are unable to register please call our office at 613-520-2600 x5007.
